Based in the town of Ramelton, the club's main claim to fame is reaching 5 FAI Junior Cup Finals.  See the History page for more details.

2008 brought a good run in the FAI Intermediate Cup and qualification for the FAI Senior Cup - Wayside Celtic are the visitors to Ramelton.

Despite having such a history, Swilly is a progressive club and has undertaken a major refurbishment of Swilly Park, to include the building of a floodlit all-weather pitch.
